Frame and Floor Construction The frame is the foundation of your park model and the Country Manor frame is engineered, designed and built to be the strongest in the industry with 8” I-Beam, main rails and 13 gauge outriggers 4’ on center.
Fairmont builds the floor on a jig to ensure strong, straight, consistent, floors; we use a basement style construction with floor joists 16” on center, running across the frame. This system creates a wide deep cavity between the
I beams – a basement – where water, drain and heat lines are installed and insulated. The area from I beam to perimeter is also completely closed and insulated.
The high quality 5/8” floor deck is then glued and all seams in the floor are screwed to the joists.
Strong over-head cranes are used to move the completed floor to the frame where a metal (optional) under pan has been installed to seal the entire underside of the park model. Once the floor has been squared to the frame, carriage bolts are used at the corners to tie the floor to the frame, additional lag bolts are used on each outrigger to further secure the floor to the frame.
